I think in these chapters the author looses a lot of
time, while switching between, they can go to Amsterdam and not. I
taught that was very tiring to read. And another think I don´t
really like, is that every chapter mentions the novel “An Imperial
Affliction”.
But I still got something positive to say. What I
found very good was, that in those chapters not everything was kind
of “funny”, I think you can see, how hard it is to be a suffering
person of cancer. I also like the chaining point in the story, that
Augustus and Hazel going to Amsterdam, maybe it is a little but
unrealistic, but anyway, it is book and I really like this idea.
But sometimes I can´t understand Hazel decision for
example when she wrote Augustus, that she can´t kiss him, was really
unnecessary, because they don´t even talked about something like
that.
Now for the next chapters I am really interested,
what kind of person Peter Van Houten is.
